The Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) is one of the few schools in the United States that offers a complete line of training programs that are specifically designed to help mariners advance from Ordinary Seafarer to Unlimited Tonnage Master.  For your convenience, the following is a complete listing of MITAGS programs that will lead to a specific license or endorsement.

Financial Assistance
Students who enroll in any of MITAGS' U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved training programs and courses may be eligible for tuition assistance from the following sources: 
 
Employers: 
Many employers have internal programs set-up to help mariners advance their career.  Please check with your company's Human Resources Department to discuss their tuition assistance and tuition reimbursement policies.
 
Military Sealift Command:
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) offers a comprehensive tuition reimbursement program for mariners who are working for them.  For additional information on this program, please download the following documents.  Note that the documents are also available under the "Downloads" section at the bottom of this page.
