Congratulations to MITAGS’ Assistant Director, Emily Hopkins on completing the Women’s Leadership Program from the Yale School of Management Executive Education!
According to the program description, “women remain underrepresented in top leadership positions, globally. To succeed, women need to learn to both navigate the external factors that are hindering their access to leadership positions and the internal factors that lie within themselves.”
The Yale School of Management Executive Education’s online Women’s Leadership Program helps develop professional potential as a leader in business and society, enhance a woman’s unique strengths, skills and traits, harness networks, and maximize innovation potential. The six-week program includes the followings areas of study:
- Values-driven leadership
- Self-knowledge and self-mastery
- Leading growth through experimentation
- Emotionally intelligent feedback
- Networks and structures of innovation
- Positive leadership
“This program helped focus my efforts on utilizing my values as my strengths, such as compassion, empowerment, and creativity,” said Emily. “It demonstrated how to leverage those values to inspire and lead, providing insight and resources on how our vulnerability can be our greatest asset. Most importantly, this program reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork and how much we can accomplish together. It reminded me how grateful I am to be part of such an amazing team at MITAGS.”
